Yes. Pro is $99 paid once, and the licence is yours to keep with no renewal and no subscription. That price is the whole cost, not a deposit.

If you would rather pay yearly, there is a $39-a-year option instead. Most people take the one-time licence.

Home and Pro are licensed for private home games. A bar or card room running games as part of its business is commercial use, which the Venue licence covers at $499 a year for the whole room.

If your league is a casual private group that happens to meet at a bar, Home is fine. If the venue itself is running the games, that is Venue.

Venue is an annual licence. If it lapses, the venue-only features switch off: multi-screen routing, concurrent sessions, cash boards, and venue branding. The app keeps working as a free install would.

Nothing you saved is touched. Your structures, templates, and events stay on the machine. Renew and everything comes back exactly as it was.

By email, right after purchase. You get a licence key, enter it in the app once, and it activates the tier you bought. There is no account to create.

It usually arrives within a minute or two. If you don't see it, check your spam folder; if it's still missing, email us and we'll resend it.

Only briefly. Entering your licence key the first time checks it once over the internet, and after that HouseClock runs fully offline the way it always has.

Running an event never needs a connection, and neither does keeping your licence active.

Yes. A licence follows you, not one specific machine. If you replace or reinstall a computer, enter the same key on the new one.

If you need to move a Venue licence between machines in the room, or you run out of activations, email us and we will sort it out.

No. HouseClock is a desktop application for macOS and Windows, because it is built to drive the large screens in a poker room from one computer.

Your phone is not part of the setup, and it doesn't need to be. The board runs on the machine, and phone numbers on the cash waitlist never leave the manager's screen.

Yes. You can run multiple live sessions at the same time, say two tournaments and a cash game side by side, each with its own clock, structure, and prize pool, each autosaved independently.

Any session can be routed to any screen, so the two tournaments and the cash waitlist can each occupy the screens you choose.

Yes. You can insert levels or breaks, change level lengths, and correct the ladder while an event is live, without disturbing the running clock.

You can also extend or shorten the current level directly when the floor makes that call.

The clock is timestamp-based and every session autosaves, so when you reopen HouseClock it resumes at the exact second. Not where the clock was last drawn, but where it actually should be given the real time that has passed.

A closed laptop, a power loss, or an app crash are all handled the same way: reopen, and the event is where it should be.

Connect your screens to the computer the way you already do, whether that is HDMI, DisplayPort, or a video-over-network setup that presents them as displays, and HouseClock routes any session to any screen from that one machine.

You can show the same session on several screens, identify which physical screen is which from the console, and save a layout that restores automatically when a screen is reconnected.

Yes. At the final table you can make a deal by even split, chip chop, ICM, or lock-and-split. Each method is calculated against the money still in play and always sums exactly to the remaining prize pool.

The result is shown clearly so it can be read back to the table before anyone agrees to it.

Yes. The free Home tier runs the clock and a basic prize pool, which covers a lot of charity and club events on its own. The house-fee and staff-fee fields let a charity account for its take separately from the prize pool.

If you want the full payout ladder, house rounding, and guarantees, Pro is a one-time $99 and keeps those numbers defensible to the table.
