Everything you need to run it well.

Getting started
From download to running clock in five steps.
Install and open
Download the build for your platform and open it. On the first launch, clear the one-time macOS or Windows prompt described on the Download page. No account, no sign-in.
Pick a structure
Start from one of the five shipped presets or generate a ladder, then adjust levels, breaks, and the ante style. Save it as a template if you'll run it again.
Set the money
Enter the buy-in, fees, and any rebuys or add-ons, set a guarantee if you have one, and choose your rounding. The prize pool and payout ladder build themselves and stay summed to the dollar.
Send it to your screens
Connect your displays and route the session to the screens you want. Save the layout so it comes back automatically next time those screens are connected.
Run the clock
Start the clock and let it drive the room — spoken warnings and level changes, automatic breaks, and holds when the floor needs them. If anything interrupts the machine, reopen and it resumes at the exact second.
Hotkeys
Run it without reaching for the mouse.

Troubleshooting
If something's off, start here.
There's no sound
- 1.Check that the voice isn't muted — press M, or look for the mute state on the console.
- 2.Confirm the app's output device is the one connected to your room's speakers, not a disconnected display.
- 3.Raise the announcement volume in the voice settings; it's separate from the system volume.
- 4.Play a test announcement to confirm the voice is working before the room fills up.
A TV isn't detected
- 1.Make sure the screen shows up as a display to your operating system first — HouseClock can only route to displays the machine already sees.
- 2.Use “Identify screens” in the console to flash a number on each display and confirm which is which.
- 3.If a screen was connected after HouseClock opened, reconnect it and it will pick up its remembered layout.
- 4.For video-over-network setups, confirm the receiver is presenting the screen as a display before routing to it.
Resuming after a crash
- 1.Reopen HouseClock. It reloads the autosaved session and resumes at the exact second, accounting for the real time that passed.
- 2.If you were running more than one session, each is restored independently from its own autosave.
- 3.Re-route any screens that were disconnected; saved layouts restore automatically.
- 4.Confirm the current level and time-of-day match the floor before restarting the clock.
